Scholarship Opportunities at Grace

Supported by generous donors, Grace is proud to offer these scholarships for any student pursuing higher education. By helping to provide our students with educational opportunities they might not otherwise be able to experience, we hope to give them the chance to make this world a better place for all of God’s children.

For technical college or trade-school study, with preference for a future linesman. Non-members may apply.

For study at any higher-learning institution, with preference to a student pursuing a career in education.

Lindsey Loehr Diemer Memorial Scholarship

A non-renewable award for a Grace member who is a high-school senior attending any higher-learning institution.

Godtland Scholarship

A non-renewable award for a Grace member graduating from high school or receiving a GED and attending any higher-learning institution.

Jeanie Godtland Scholarship

A non-renewable award for a student graduating from high school or receiving a GED, with preference to a student pursuing nursing.

LuVerne Godtland Scholarship

A non-renewable award for a student graduating from high school or receiving a GED, with preference to technical college or trade certification.

LuVerne Godtland Education Scholarship

A non-renewable award for a Grace member graduating from high school or receiving a GED and pursuing a career in education.

Grace Foundation Scholarship

Renewable for a Grace member attending a Lutheran college or university.

Grace Foundation Scholarship for non-traditional students

A non-renewable award for a Grace member who is a non-traditional student attending a Lutheran college or university.

Janice M. and Henry J. Guse Scholarship

For a high-school senior entering a nursing program of at least two years, with financial need considered. Non-members may apply.

Gertrude Hanson Memorial Scholarship

A non-renewable award for a Grace member who is a high-school senior attending any higher-learning institution.

Vern Jahnke Memorial Scholarship

For a Grace member pursuing higher education or the trades.

John and Alma Matthews Memorial Scholarship

A non-renewable award for a Grace member who is a high-school senior attending any higher-learning institution.

Laurence McGill Memorial Scholarship

For a Grace high-school senior attending a higher-learning institution who demonstrates financial need.

Delores Ost Scholarship

For a Grace member attending a higher-learning institution, with preference to a student pursuing a career in education.

Lu Ryan Memorial Scholarship

For a Grace member pursuing higher learning, with preference to trade school, a two-year program, or a non-traditional student.

Please complete this application to the best of your ability. Take care that your responses are legible and be mindful of grammar and spelling. The Scholarship Team will review your application and notify you if you have received an award by April 2026.

The scholarship application deadline is March 23, 2026.

The Scholarship Team reserves the right not to consider applications received after the application deadline.
